RESULTS TORBAY 2 MARJONS A 1 ISCA B 3 TORBAY A 3 ISCA D 1 TORBAY B 3 TORBAY C 2 ASHMOOR A 2 The first XI dominated most of the game at home to Marjons but ended up needing a sharp last minute save from the goalkeeper, Dean Mitchell to clinch all three points. The game was goalless at half-time, Christian Pitocco missing the best chance, firing over the bar with only the keeper to beat. Two goals early in the second half gave Torbay a deserved advantage. Matt Robinson scored the first when a Nick Wilkinson shot came back to him off the goalie's pads. Matt Clark was tripped en route to goal, and Torbay were awarded a penalty flick. Leading scorer, Jamie Walsh, netted for his seventh goal of the season. Walsh also fired over the bar from open play, which could have made the game safe. Marjons scored from a short corner with five minutes to go, and it needed Mitchell to pull off a save from a further short corner to secure all three points. The win lifts Torbay into third place in the table. The second XI came from 2-0 and 3-2 down to draw at ISCA B. Nick Walker and Seb Brown brought them back into the game, and Alex Peers scored a late equaliser. Chris Reeves bagged a first half hat-trick during the third XI's 3-1 victory away at ISCA D. The win lifts them up into second place in the Division. They were aided by the 4th XI claiming their first point of the season at home to Ashmoor A. The Torbay side led 2-0 at half-time with goals from Barney Tuck and Jon Clements. Brave goalkeeping from late stand-in, Asa Barnett, helped secure the draw. On Sunday Torbay progressed into the second round of the Devon Cup with a 5-2 victory at home to ECV Hornets. Goals from Jamie Walsh, Christian Pitocco, Joel Heagney and Ian Murphy (2) put the host 5-0 up. Hornets scored twice late on when Torbay had 2 players in the sin bin, Alex Francis (stick tackle) and Pitocco (dissent).
